I have found ST moves to work my lower body individual moves on Spark workout generator but there is no place for any strength moves on the Calories Burned list. How can I figure out calories burned for Strength exercises?

Hi,

Just like all calorie expended calculators, SparkPeople uses an algorithm using the member's data--weight, time spent doing that particular exercise, etc and then formulates a calories burn figure using that data. Just remember all calories expended calculators, even heart rate monitors, are just estimates of calories burned. Anything outside a laboratory setting is.

Hi GINNABOOTS,

This feature was added several months ago. A few options you can take if you do not want to receive calories burn for your ST exercises is for you to manually enter in your own ST exercises or use the Fitness Quick Tracker so that you still get credited for the minutes, but not the calories burn.

Mine does it too. It does not appear that you can shut it off.

My fitness tracker is now counting calories burned for strength training. It never used to include those calories. In the past in only included cardio. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? Is there a setting where that can be changed?
