you can do it... I quit smoking on july 3 after 40 years, and have never looked back. Just keep plugging at it, it will eventually take hold. I tried more times than I can count, but this time I KNEW I had it beat... Now I am on to get some weight off and eat healthier. I am remaking my life. Its nice to know I am not alone in my goals, and you are not either.

Hello my name is Katrina Rae Porter and I am a forty-one soon to be forty-two year female from Columbus, Ohio.
I have been a member of SparkPeople for several years now and the first time around I was very active on the boards. I tracked my food intake, my exercise and everything else you could do on SparkPeople.
Then life happened and I stopped doing everything.
I have been hanging out on SparkPeople since the beginning of March 2013 and it is now that I have decided to take control of my weight and my health and do something about it.
I go by many names, Kat, Trina, Trouble, and even Hurricane. But please don't call me Christina or late for dinner.
My goals are simple, I want to go back to the weighing 150 pounds, I want to exercise more and I want to cook healthy and great tasting meals for my boyfriend and I, and I want to quit smoking for good.
