I had no dog in this fight since my Angels or Dodgers weren't in the Series. However, I enjoyed watching the pitching from both teams, fabulous. I was glad to see the Sox win though since David Ortiz was more than consistent with the bat. He did a good job playing First Base in St. Louis when he needed to. From worst to first in the span of two seasons just beautiful. Hopefully the team can mostly stay together and make a run at it again for 2014.

Since The Bruins and Red Sox won the Celtics and Patriots have to step up and win lol. That would be pretty neat but I am rooting for my Broncos and Lakers. (Very good luck Lakers, my Broncos have a better chance!)

It was a fantastic series and the St Louis fans should be proud of their Cardinals. They were a tough team.

But, yeah... Let's go Red Sox !!!

a local radio station here in Pittsburgh played a phone call recorded from a sports radio station in Boston where a caller called in the day after the Red Sox won the World Series and wanted the Red Sox to immediately fire the Red Sox manager for making a few bad decisions during the series.

LOL! I thought only Pittsburgh sports fans were nutz!

Both teams were class acts, but I'm thrilled that my Sox came out with the victory. Very touching with the fans going to the marathon finish line.

Awesome victory for my Sox!!! Now I can finally get some sleep, hahaha! What a great win, though, and a great Series. Hats off to the Cards, very formidable foes! Their manager is a class act, I must say.

It was a great series. I stayed up all night to watch every game on mlb.com since I live in Sweden. They are two great teams but I am thrilled beyond belief that my beloved Red Sox won this year. It was a tough year for Boston emotionally....

I was not happy that St. Louis knocked out my Pittsburgh Pirates, we dominated them almost all season except for when it counted. I was delighted to hear not that the Red Sox won but that the Cards did NOT!

Since we lived in St Louis, I was hoping for a cards win, but it was a good series anyway.
