Thanks, everybody! On Day 5 and holding strong! Yes, I'm avoiding alcohol for now (rarely drink anyway) and even limiting my coffee. Man, that's painful!!! But for me, smoking and coffee go hand in hand. I'm now experiencing nicotine and caffeine withdrawals--not a good time--but I'm sticking to it! Although, I may have developed an addiction to sour apple Dum Dums.
I was really discouraged when I got on the scale this morning and had gained another pound!
But I'm tracking everything and being extra careful, so it's not my eating! I think it's water weight from all the V8 juice (my replacement for coffee for now) and running. Still not feeling any better about seeing that number on the scale! Ugh
Not gonna lie, this has been pure hell, but I want this and I'm going to do this.
