Plateaus are so frustrating!! Just keep at it! Change things up a bit, different exercises/foods. You will break thru it! JUST DON'T GIVE UP!!

Hi and welcome to Spark!! I wish you lots of luck on your journey!!

Plateaus can be so depressing -- but remember the focus is on long-term health. Can you try varying your workout some? Or if you're not already, try a couple of weeks of going vegetarian? Sometimes you can re-energize your weight loss by changing how you eat, and going veggie for a short period of time is a great way to learn some new cooking techniques as well!

Good luck with it, and press on. The change WILL happen.

I am finally under 180 and heading to my next goal of 166. ( my doctor's goal)

I started on the spark article Nine noteworthy goals for the new year. And since hubby likes him am following Bob Harper's recommendations which are almost exactly the same.
Keep on sparking.

I just signed up yesterday for the Spark Coach- been working out between 400/450min a week and have lost nothing in past month! Grrr... I know scale is just a number but be really nice if that dang number would move!! Anyone else have this issue or had???....Started training last week for a 5k doing the C25K program to add some variety into my workouts and doing online classes using Ripsticks- very cool!!
