I have finally gotten "in the groove" and lost a few pounds, and feel like it too! The secret for me was recognizing that I need to decrease the amount of sugar in my diet and at least moderate the carbs. Fear of diabetes is my motivator. For my body apparently all calories are not equal because it wants to hang on to fat if I eat sweets. I have only had a couple of very small desserts all month and have cut back on the amount of sugar I put in my coffee. Woo-hoo!
