Hi everyone, my name is Brollykat. I am quite new to all this, but I have figured out that I will not lose weight if I am not serious about it. So, I am here being serious with my big girl pants on, making an effort to make this thing a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix.
I have more or less always been overweight. I have struggled with body issues for most of my life, but now I am ready to actually do something about it. I have PCOS, just if anyone wanted to know, this makes it really hard to lose weight, but I will not allow that to define my progress.
I have realized that anyone who has every really wanted anything in life, took the hard road and worked it until they got the results they were looking for. This is true in any aspect of a persons life and no different when it comes to weight loss. This journal will be here for me to write down periodically what helps me in terms of doing what I need to do to keep the excess weight off. This mean I will not be doing the same things that have got me to this point, lol, that would be insanity. I might wright down what I eat, but mostly I think I will just write down how much I lost, how I feel and perhaps my workout routine.
