U should start joining teams and interact with the members by posting in the threads that are created or start ur own thread on a team and just interact and join in the challenges and games. U will get alot of help and support by doing so. I wish u the best on ur journey.

emoticon Chris. You don't sound silly at all. We are all here to learn, get and give support and create healthier habits. You have a lot of exciting things going on in your life and that is wonderful. Check out some of the teams and support groups. Many have buddy systems or ways to find a buddy. I'm here via Sparkmail or if you visit my page if I can help in any way. I'm much older--I have 3 sons ages ranging from 18-24.

Cheering you on to new, healthier habits in your new life.

Hi everyone! My name is Chris and... I am BRAND NEW here! woot! It took a lot to take the first step (sorry if that sounds silly) I don't even know where to start. Im relatively young (22 to be exact) I am a full time psychology student and I work full time with troubled children (ages 5-18). I recently just got an apartment with my fiancÚ and this our first time on our own. Since being on our own I have gained some weight and am not very happy with it. I want to become more healthy, I don't want to fall back into my old habits which I have already started to do! Life always throws me a curve ball so I tend to get set back and discouraged a lot. It would be nice to connect with some older members that might be interested in being somewhat of a mentor? I don't know I am probably sounding silly again! Anywhoo yay!
