I'm reading this that you want to tone your body - muscle - right?

I am doing circuit training at the Y. If you are in the position to look into a gym that offers weight machines look into it. They are a safe alternative to free weights (plus you won't catch me in the free weight room the guys ;) ).

I have lost about 8 pounds this month but I will not attribute that to the bra band size - I attribute that completely to the toning exercise I am doing with the weight machines. I have gone down a band size this past month - we go the the gym on average of 3 times a week.

You won't bulk up like a man you will tone like a woman.

You definitely need a different bra. Even when I was 170 lbs I didn't have overhang. Get a better fitting bra!

You can't spot tone fat. You have to do it with an overall body fat reduction. But like the others said, a wider bra band should help. I've found that those skinny little bras always gives me overhang, and I'm not very overweight, so make sure you are wearing the correct band size. Go up a size if you need to.

Get a different style bra, one with a longer 'body', to rein in the rolls. You'll lose in that area as you lose all over, with any cardio and strength training.

There is no way to spot reduce areas of our bodies we don't like. it would be nice if we could, but we can't. You have two options.

If you eat right, watch your portions and get some regular exercise that includes some strength training, the weight will come off your entire body with time. Where the weight comes off will be determined by genetics.

Your second option is to buy a better fitting bra. If you have over hang, it's not your body, it's your bra. Go to Macy's or a really good department store. Go into the lingerie department and ask to have a bra fitting.

Most American women are wearing the wrong bra. So, if you've got overhang, you need a better fitting bra. the right bra will lift the gals and pull back your shoulders. In short, it's a quick way to improve your posture.

Can someone PLEASE tell me some good exercises to tone my back... especially the bra overhang area??? I have a bowflex, hand weights and resistance bands... I'm just not sure how to target this area... Thanks so much for your help!!!
