I've never done it, but as another poster mentioned you just never know how you might react to it....you could risk dehydration or worse.
I'd say invest in a set of Spanx instead. My daughter was a bridesmaid last year and hers REALLY changed the way the dress looked on her.

The rule of thumb is never do anything 'new' just days prior to an important event. You never know what kind of reaction you're going to have. You don't want to take the chance of dehydrating yourself and feeling like crap on such a happy occasion.
It's like brides trying to self tan or get a bikini wax for the first time before the big day. It never ends well.

I did it once and lost 10 lbs in one day but gained it back in 2. My husband gave me a coupon for another one so I guess I will please him.
Good luck with your wedding dress!

Hi all, I'll be in bridal party in 2 weeks or so. I have been eating and exercising well, and feel pretty good about the dress. However, to look my absolute best I was debating doing a self-body wrap starting a couple days before to get that temporary water weight out. Has anyone had success with this?
