Group Power and Body Pump used to be the same class under Body Pump. Then a long time ago Les Mills and BTS split and went their separate ways, I actually do notice a difference and miss the old, old classes when they still worked together, le sigh...

I must be one lucky girl......Group power does less reps and higher weights. I am up to 80 lbs in calf raises...........and 51 lbs. squats.

Didn't think much of it. It was cardio with some weights. There is really little purpose to doing so many reps with such a light weight. If you want to do cardio, do cardio, if you want to do weights, do weights. This does both poorly.

I'm in the middle. I've had it with good and bad instructors. If the instructor is good, I like it. If they aren't, nope.

I take Group Power which is similar............LOVE IT.......could be the poster child for one instructor agreed with me on that.

Love it!!! Love knowing what's coming, love having a song come on and knowing how much weight to put on my bars, love the familiar faces that flock to the class. Love love love!

I enjoyed it and enjoy the concept but I quit after awhile because the instructors' did the same routine every time. And I got bored.
