I love body pump. There are some people who do not feel they are strength training, but you get out of the class what you put in. The goal of a class like that is working on muscular endurance, but I use heavier weights and exhaust my muscles before the set it done. I really get a good workout and I have noticed that my muscles have more definition and I really do feel stronger.
Thank I think I am going to give it a try the next class that is offered. I have watched the videos on it and it looks like it would be kind of fun. I think much better than just going and walking on the treadmill and the bikes. At least you seem to be working your whole body out.
I love BodyPump. I highly recommend that you give it a try. For me it is a great way to get in regular strength training and have an instructor there to show me the moves and make sure I challenge myself with heavier weights over time.
