It depends on what the challenge is. I agree that Aveeno is a great go to and I had many nurses recommend it for my dad who had very delicate skin. I use Keri on my legs and bath and body works Shea butter on my hands. Face and neck is a whole other discussion.

I've actually been pretty satisfied with Lubriderm lately. But my skin is super-dry, so even Lubriderm may feel greasy in the summer time for many people. In the winter, Eucerin is the only stuff that will sink in--but in the heat it feels like I've been swimming thru rubber cement!

I like Alba Botanica Natural Very Emollient Body Lotion.
Nice light smell, not too greasy, absorbs quickly, moisturizes well.
Much cheaper if you buy it at Vitacost instead of at a health food store.

I've never found one that didn't leave a "film" on me, but used Vaseline Intensive Care only when and where it was needed now and then, usually on my feet. Can't stand any lotion on me during summer time, ugh. Hope you find one, too bad you can't get lots of free samples to test first.
