I just went through a long stretch where I had the opposite problem: my clothes were getting looser but the scale wasn't budging. I attributed it to increasing my exercise in the last few weeks. Eventually you'll lose the inches, you're doing great.

Everyone loses inches and weight at different intervals. Hang in there, and eventually, the loss of inches will come. It sounds like you're doing great!!

Just hang in there! It's frustrating, but the best thing you can do is just continue forward.

Sorry you had the flu! emoticon You're doing a great job. In the past with my own weight loss, I kept waiting for my clothes to fit differently and I, too, would be dissapointed when they didn't at first. One day, however, there would be a huge difference. It was almost like it changed overnight. For me, it was surprising. Hang in there. One day, it will show up and you'll wonder why you didn't notice it. LOL

I started my new lifestyle (eating healthy, cardio 4-5x week and strength 2-3x/week). I fell ill with the flu the last three days but am now back on my horse. REALLY trying to get motivated.

I have lost 13 pounds so far since Jan 4th. (SO excited over that!!! I had the WORST diet ever and very sedentary).

I have lost zero inches though so my clothes all fit the same which is depressing - the scale shows weight loss but my "size" doesn't. I feel like the strength training I'm doing isn't helping or I'm just dellusional. Im finding it hard to get the motivation to get on the elliptical or pop in my DVD (slim in 6) at all today. Help? :)
