Coach Nicole also has a video with the best stretches for shin splints! Or if you'd like a whole runner's stretching routine, she has a 10-minute video for that, and it includes the shin splint stretches from the other video. :) I also get them, seemingly no matter what I do, but I think the stretching really does help.
I was wondering what your best practice is for helping out with shin splints. Have new "professionally fitted" shoes, tried the compression things, several days of rest between exercises (it always comes back when I start up again). I think it is something I just have to deal with. What kind of stretches etc do you do to help yours?
