Why not to try some "braiding hairstyles"? As you are blessed with long and wavy hairs...I guess you might opt for the fishtail braids,ladder kind braids,waterfall braids etc..May it favorably works for you...My stylist suggest me to "Kadi" for my hairs. What say about it? :)
I got that Aero Jump jump rope DVD workout. I was going to try it yesterday when I got it but had already decided to take a day or two off from it. I was sore and I think wearing myself out from doing it too much!
I am thinking tomorrow but it's hard to balance because I'm a snowsports person too and the snow emergencies have been lifted (for now!)
I will try the two french braids as well, but looks like the braided bun is seriously THE BOMB! I had to use a heavy-duty workout style headband to secure it since I don't have the stick yet, but it held a LOT better! LEC358 you rock! Thanks!
I would try using pins/clips to attach braids to my head. Or a tightish bun might work.

I started jump roping the other day after not doing it for a while and I LOVE it. But my hair is really long - what is the best way to wear it for jump roping 30-60 minutes? I normally put it into a ponytail and loop the end under but it keeps falling out and even in a braid it seems to fly around and catch the jump rope sometimes...
Any other tips or good workouts for jumping rope please let me know. I've been looking at getting the Aerojump DVDs too. My calves are sore but other than that it was GREAT!
