Try the Just Dance games for Wii. They are so fun!
Just remember that with the Wii, it only tracks your arm movement. It's up to you to dance around with your legs as well.
You don't have to eat the whole thing.

I am not into Wii so cannot help you there. I do have a treadmill, and I agree - It is boring! However, in bad weather I have to use it. I either crank up the music volume, or watch T.V. I also change the speed/incline to add challenge so my body won't get fed up of the 'same route'. How about taking your walk outside? It would be great to go and walk with someone and if you have kids, bring them along! This will take your mind off of it. I go exploring new parts of town, or go find a trail or a park. There is so much to see that you forget what you are doing. Swimming is a great exercise. How about zumba?

I exercise in the evening after my kids are in bed....that's the problem. My husband works second shift, so I have to do something in the house, once they are in bed. So walking outside is out. I like fast paced exercise that goes by fast, but find it hard to find videos I can do or that are fast paced.

Don't worry about the calorie burn. Whatever you do for exercise, you adjust your diet to account for it (so if you go for high calorie burn, you eat more to accommodate and fuel it) so you'll lose weight the same no matter which exercise you choose. What you should focus on instead is what you enjoy. When you do exercise, what interests you most? Do you like walking? What about dancing? Do you like a martial-arts style workout? Maybe something gentler, like yoga? Not big on calorie burn, but it would have HUGE benefits for your flexibility, balance, and well being.
Treadmills are boring as snot, I agree; if I have to watch TV or read to get through it, it's boring. I prefer to get outside. :)
