Focus on feeling better first. If you push yourself too hard it could result in being sick longer. I had a horrible cold last year and ended up not exercising for a couple of weeks and ate pretty much whatever (mainly because I didn't want to cook anything)... I didn't end up gaining weight, I just felt kinda blah and lazy until I got back into the groove of things.

It takes more than a week for your body to get into shape, and it takes more than a week for it to get out of shape.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

I have had a cold for the past 2 days, today is worse than the day before. As in I'm exhausted walking up my stairs. Despite that all I want to do is eat. I'm sure I've gone over my mark, and I haven't exercised since Wednesday-which has me bummed because...well I've been working out and eating healthy for 4 months and this is the first time I've been sick. I think it is probably the fear of losing what I have accomplished. Just looking for some reassurance, not trying prove I'm neurotic or anything ;-)
