Thank you, Exceldream! Maine is a Beautiful dream in itself--mountains, ocean, and forests. Hope you get to visit there someday!

5 pounds is a TREMENDOUS amount! And possibly too much to be healthy at your weight, although I suspect the "gain" was water retention. I know when I travel, I always have problems with that. But it's still a net loss to celebrate. Good for you. And I hope you enjoyed your vacation. I've always wanted to go to Maine.

Thank you for your words of encouragement!! Knowing others are out there with the same challenges helps to keep plugging along.

Gained 2 lbs. from my beginning weight while on vacation in Maine. This morning my scales showed I'd lost the 2 lbs. along with another 3 lbs.! Five lbs. may not seem like much, but it's WHOO-HOO moments to me to see the numbers on the scale going DOWN, even in decimal points!
