I always read before going to bed too.

Make sure my alarm is on, tell/kiss hubby goodnight (I always go to bed before him, he stays up too late for me) and tell my two little dogs "bed time" and off to bed we go.

I am a crossword puzzle addict, so I spend that last 15-20 minutes before I fall asleep doing them to distract my brain.

I'm a reader too; I read for about half an hour before going to sleep, usually with my 2 cats snuggled up near me.

My name is Shari; I have been a Sparker since July 2006, I am now in hospice care for metastatic breast cancer, but I'm not letting cancer stop me from Sparking!

A quiet half hour when I can after a warm bath.. cup of tea, dog at my feet, cat on my lap... no electronics, just a good book.

That's the ideal.. sometimes it's more like hurrying up to fold laundry, grading one more set of papers, making tomorrow's lunches and getting the coffee maker set, walking the dog, cleaning up the cat's hairballs, sigh......

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

I love novels. Good novels and reading them is about the last thing i do before falling asleep. Do you have a bed time habit? What is it?
