The appeal of binging is lessening for you - that's great!!
Congrats!

emoticon Realizing what is happening when it is happening is the first step to fixing why it is happening. You might try journaling when you find yourself at the open fridge mindlessly eating. [oh, sorry, that's me talking to me] but it might help you too! emoticon

I binged for the first time yesterday. Now I know that isn't beating the binge, but here is what it did give me. It was a total nonevent. It didn't make me feel better or worse emotionally. Physically I just felt overstuffed. The point here is that experiencing the nonevent of a binge is something I've never felt before. I've been learning positive ways to deal with the feelings that have driven me to eat a bag of chips in the past. For the first time I really feel that the chains that I've bound myself in regarding food are finally slipping. So thank you negative binge, you have taught me a positive lesson and for that I would like to celebrate.
