Hang in there Deb, just think how wonderful tomorrow will be not having to deal with this week anymore! Whole new week full of new options. Okay I don't know if I'm trying to convince you or me lol, but we can do it. I just need to get off my duff and go for a walk which I really enjoy but life always gets in the way.
I had a really bad week myself. Nothing major went wrong, I just couldn't get in the groove. I put off working out, and ate pretty much whatever I felt like. I have no idea why I felt this way, I've thought about it and can't come up with any good reason. I just feel like I don't want to participate this week. And it is ending today with me having to do something I hate; sit around and visit with people I don't care for. There will be food, none of which is good for you. All in all a stinky way to end a stinky week.
Thank you for the encouragement. Milkyway515 and Junkdrawer. I've been doing great for 2 months I think I'm getting bored with it all. I don't exercise like I should so I need to get into something new to get sparked. My plan is to walk at least 3 miles today that always gets me going on the right track.
Hi! Sometimes I think we all get a little caught up in perfectionism; that we need to do absolutely everything right or it is all wrong! We cannot be "perfect", but we can keep plugging along, forgiving ourselves for slip-ups and patting ourselves on the back for what we are able to do right. Keep plugging along! I know you can do it!!

I go through ups and downs too. I find that I can hang on to eating less, even if I'm not working out as much as I need to be. I go through stretches where I'm highly regimented, and others where I'm being careful, but don't get all wound up in keeping track of it.
I know being super dillegent about everything is better, but sometimes schedule, stress, and a million other things means I need some down time and me time too. I've held on enough to not completely fall off the wagon (had plenty of temptation too though).
Biggest thing is to know where you want to be headed and not give up all together. Just do the best you can day by day.
Good luck training for your competitions! Remember to feed your body all the things it needs to have healthy muscles, bones, joints, and circulation - lots of vegetables to get those vitamins, minerals and phyto-nutrients!

Even though you've been a member for a little bit, I give all new members one piece of advice and it's this,"Don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothiing mentality." If the only healthy thing you do today is drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.
As the old song goes,"accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative". Give yourself credit for all the positive things you do for yourself and don't beat yourself up because you're not perfect. You don't have to be perfect to be healthy.
Be kind to yourself as you would to others.

I had a bad week. My motivation seems to work in waves! Like it's bipolar no matter how focused I am. The good news is I don't want to give up, but I just can't seem to keep things straight when times are hard no matter what tricks I seem to read or etc.
I am a big girl, and in my line of work it directly affects me. (I am a professional dancer - FYI: Real dancing. The kind that keeps their clothes on! haha) I have multiple competitions coming up and that keeps me focused, it's the motivation that is hard.
Maybe I need a buddy who understands what I am going through. My partner also wants to get in shape, and we sometimes go to the gym together but our schedules don't always fit.
Anyhow, I felt the need to share. Sometimes I wish I were strong enough to just suck it up!
