Since puberty the only time I did not have an issue with my weight was college. I was a size 16/18 in high school, but lost the the freshman 15 as the campus was small enough everyone walked (or ran) to classes. College was also in Florida, so I was constantly at the pool or out and about.
When I graduated college I was a size 9, but that was not a health weight for me as I got many comments that I looked gaunt. I gradually got back to a 12/14 and was happy with myself.
In 2000 I move back north and noticed I was gaining a dress size every 2 years. By 2008 I was a size 22 and in 2010 I hit 250 lbs right after Christmas. I tried weight watchers and was able to loose 20 lb. but when I plateaued and it was still draining my wallet I felt I needed a change with a different type of "support".
I originally created this account in 2007, but let life distract me. Now I'm back and much more focused.
