Great job HHARTNELL7! You'll be so happy you've decided to do it. I've avoided running for years because I didn't find it that much fun. Once I signed up for a race, I find every run goal directed and exciting! Running is amazing exercise!

Awesome start! You should be proud! I too am starting to train for a 5K. I have never done anything like it before in my life, but I am really looking forward to the challenge! Congrats on what you have achieved so far!

That is great I have told myself more than once I was going to run a 5k but has not happened yet. Maybe this year just need to do it.
Hello, I started the couch to 5k yesterday. I did 20 mins on the treadmill following the program 5 min brisk walk then 60 secs running and 90 sec walking for 20 mins total and it felt great!!! I have run %k's in the past and want to get back at it!!! Also it is a great wt loser for me...I need to reach my gaol of 60lbs wt loss. I am currently down 12lbs...woo hoo!
