I first joined Sparkpeople on October 1, 2008 and weighed in at 331lbs. On October 1, 2011 I met my weight loss goal of 166lbs for final weight of 165lbs - yes I over 1/2 of my starting weight. For the next 1.5 years I did not track my calories and did not exercise very often so I decided yesterday that I had better get back to using Sparkpeople again. I went from a size 24 pant / 3XL (26) top down to a size 8 pant / S (8) top and the last few months my clothes have been getting tighter. I got on the scales yesterday and between the muscle tone that I lost from not exercising and the extra weight gain I am now weighing in at 177.6lbs. I want to get back down to 165lbs and then I may try to lose another 15lbs to get to 150lbs.
I love Sparkpeople and it is amazing how much more conscious I am of what food is going in my mouth when I am counting every calorie with the Food Tracker on this website.
