In Minnesota some ride year around and at worse we can get in 8 or 9 months. Here the city plows the bikeways and bike lanes.

It is called WORK-ing out for a reason.

I said getting fit was simple, I did not say it was easy.

Cardio burns calories, strength work burns fat.

Eat well to lose weight, exercise to get fit

You can not build a six pack using twelve packs

Often when we seek a magic bullet for fitness we end up shooting ourselves in the foot.

Love my Diamondback! I have been tracking with SparkPeople for 5 days and have been on my bike 4 of those 5. I have been walking for ... well forever, but can only get outside on the bike in this part of Oregon for about 4-5 months, and in the summer it is an absolute pleasure to ride on these cool mornings. The burn is amazing, and after the first three days I can already burn further, faster, and get a second wind much quicker. I don't know if I will lose weight on my first weigh in on Thursday but I sure feel good.
