Hey, I'm Lindy, 29 year old mom of 2. I've been a member of Spark People on and off since 2009. Last year I was finally able to lose a decent chunk of weight (after gaining 10 lbs the previous year, my wake up call), and I went from my all time high of 170 to 148.4 lbs. I got to only 1.4 lbs away from what I weighed 8 years ago before having children. It was awesome. Best feeling ever!

Unfortunately though, I plateau-ed after that, and hovered between 148 and 151 for a few months. I was laid off from my fairly active, always on my feet and moving, factory job back in October. Since then, my weight has gone back up to 158 due to inactivity and poor nutrition choices.

I'm back on the healthy lifestyle wagon now, and am going to be using Spark People daily to keep me motivated again.

My goal is to get down to 145 by the end of April. In addition to playing Volleyball two nights a week, I am going to be going back to the Zumba classes that helped me lose weight originally, three times a week. I am also going to be using the fitness centre at my gym twice a week for at least an hour each time. I need to whip myself back into shape so I can get that amazing feeling back. It was so nice hearing all the compliments from people telling me they could tell I lost weight and that I looked great. Now I just feel like people are seeing me and thinking how much weight I've gained. :(
