If i were to drop to my BMI I would be all skin and bones as well. According to that chart I should be 120 lbs, but my own doc said getting to 160 would be just fine. He doesn't really believe in the BMI chart because each persons bone mass and the way they carry weight varies greatly.

I do not agree with the BMI system. I almost died due to complications with my Chrons and during this time I had quickly lost 50 lbs. I was skinny with my rib cage showing and weighed 148 lbs. By the BMI i was just under normal then. Now I weigh 240 and I know that I am obese. However my goal is 160-170 which puts me in the overweight category still. I can never be 150 again andbe healthy my body will not allow it unless I am having issues again. Does anyone else have the same issues with the BMI?
