I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far. I have a few hours of work I have to do today, but other than that am looking forward to a relaxing sunday of a workout or 2 , a few chores and some errands.

I'm still not feeling 100% fine. I seem to have a little virus that I can't quite shake. So I am doing some some of my easier, gentler DVD's -- to keep the exercise habit going, but not stressing my body too much.

Ditto to onlineasllou...I used to pray through 20 minutes of exercise every other day. It took me a while to get to where exercise was enjoyable and "natural". And everyone's bodies, needs, and schedules are different. I am amazed, though, at those who make time for 2000 or more a month!

To all the new people this month, WELCOME!

And I want to say not to worry if your goal is modest. The people here who post that they work out several hours per week have never made me feel "less than" because of my modest goal of 600 minutes per month (150 minutes per week, 30 minutes per day for 5 times per week). We all support each other no matter what your goal is.

This monthly challenge has really helped me a lot to stay on track with a regular schedule of exercise that I can live with for the rest of my life.

I will give this a try. I usually do 4 hours a week of cardio and some random minutes on strength training. I will set a goal of 1000.

Welcome to our new workout minutes challenge for August. A new month that offers us a new opportunity to begin working out and become healthier!!! I have to keep my goal at 1600 minutes, the move will continue into next month and there are very few minutes left over for actual workouts!!
