I found that setting small goals has helped me. I'll set myself aside so many calories for breakfast, lunch, and then dinner. You gotta keep that number in mind when picking out what you want to eat instead of just eating and then figuring up how many calories you just consumed. Know before hand. As for cardio, I hate exercising so I make myself walk on the treadmill 10 min at a time several times a day. I tell myself I have to walk a min of 30 min a day.
Have confindence in yourself and stick to it. Good luck and have fun at the lake.
The lake sounds like fun. When I was in high school I went to 4-H Camp for a week and it was a blast. Loved going down to Branson, Missouri to the Lake there as that was fun, too. Once we went camping at Kentucky Lake and that was great. Loved that as I met a lot of neat kids my age.

I'm having such a hard time sticking to a cardio work out because I hate cardio and I'm also having a hard time not eating over my calorie intake.
My GF and her foster family are going to the lake and are letting me go too so it'll be a good time to swim and hike to lose weight.
