A friend of mine is also allergic to extreme temp changes and turns not only red but breaks out in hives....and not severe temp changes either. +

I am always turning red. I'm allergic to the sun, which doesn't help. I also don't handle heat well, I don't sweat well, so I just get heat exhaustion or heat stroke. I used to be embarrassed by it, but now not so much. I found a really good make up that is very light with only minimal color that helps diminish the red on my face, but otherwise I don't worry about it. My chest gets red if I wear necklaces. It can be annoying, but I just deal with it and pretend like nothing's going on.

I actually have an olive complexion and tan really easily however if I get embarrassed or drink alcohol....beet red. Go figure!

If I am out in the sun more than 15-20 minutes, I turn red too! I don't mind being light skinned other than I can't be in the sun!

I turn red but I am allergic to the sun. I can't go out when it is very hot like in the afternoon. I go out early in the morning. Otherwise I get blisters under my skin and get very sick. I didn't always have this. When I was young I could go out in the afternoon. I lived in Alaska for 8 yrs
and the highest it got was low 60's. When I came back to the lower 48 was when I started to get sick if I was out in the sun. That is when I was told I was allergic to the sun. I have to wear
sunscreen, hat and long sleeves when outside.

I turn red from exercise, and the sun...that is about all. I can't imagine all that, it must be difficult.

I'm extremely pale and when I wasn't as fit as I am now, I had that problem too. But as my fitness level increased (my cardiovascular system got more efficient), I had a less of a problem. But from one snow white to another, daily sunscreen habit is a must! I use the Neutrogena Sunscreen/moisturizer instead of moisturizing alone. Your skin will thank you for it!

I am very fair skinned and always turn red and I cannot tell you have many times people have asked me what is wrong or are worried because I have high blood pressure that I am having a stroke. I wish I could change this but tanning is even worse for me.

I read that as red hot! lol Too bad sunscreen can't help those problems. Do you have 50 shades of red?

Ok, so I am very fair skin, or I won't lie I am as white as baby powder. I might even glow in the dark. I don't really mind, I am Irish and Norwegian and we are not great tanners. My issue that I have that makes me crazy is I turn SUPER red. Like hot to the touch red. If I have half a beer... RED.... get embarrassed... RED.... mad... RED.... sad..... RED. Any high emotion... RED... have a crush on someone and see them... RRREEEDDDD! I can't change it, can't fight it, it is what it is. I have to go through the rest of the day having people ask me if I am ok, did I go tanning, did my cat die etc.... What a pain in the butt!

There I feel better... other then I am RED and hot! LOL
