Thank you all for your responses.

I'm still staying away from the candy machine and the free work food, and I bought a banana and an orange. I think that will carry me through. And I have a stash of whole wheat pretzels for emergencies that I used for my morning snack.

Fedgirl4, I'm like you--over an hour from my job in the morning, and over an hour and a half from home in the evening, because of worse traffic. If I hadn't woken up "late" at 6.04, it could have been much worse traffic-wise.

I hate when I oversleep.

I am more than an hour from my job, so I understand the frustration at having to throw together food.

These things happen. It must be Monday because we've been having similar issues here at work with things not going the way they should. Don't beat yourself up because you might have missed a workout. Tomorrow, you merely resume your normal routine.

Missing a workout or eating a little too much does not make you a bad person or an unhealthy one. It happens. You move on with life.

No worries.

Either my alarm is set for pm and my clock is set for am, or the other way around. This is the first day back after a vacation, and I have blissfully forgotten all those details . . . I threw together a breakfast and lunch, but just putting the food into my tracker, I see I am undersupplied.

I had to walk the dog of course, and feed him. But didn't get the workout I had hoped for this morning. Maybe I'll get a couple pieces for fruit from the cafe to be an afternoon snack, or a yogurt.

I made it to work later than I hoped, but no one is going to yell at me. I brought souvenirs from my vacation for them :-D

It is just frustrating to be running late.
