I am making changes. One or two small changes at a time.

I am making changes over time. For the next 2 weeks I am concentrating on getting back into exercise by walking everyday, also giving up the candy, no cake either or wine with dinner. I will log everything I eat, the good, bad and ugly, ha. I think this will give me a good start and then I shall plan the next 2 weeks I am taking baby steps as it has been so long since I have been accountable I need to take it slow and re-educate myself. I'm not sure what I'm doing... I made a promise to myself back in September that I'd lose 30 lbs in 6 months... I've gained 6. I'm going to a personal trainer 3 times a week.. and gaining. I know that it's the food I'm eating. I am hoping if I track my food now, it'll be easier.
my biggest challenge is finding healthy food that I enjoy. :/

I don't think big new year resolutions help me. I make goals and changes periodically throughout the year. It feels more manageable and I don't see any reason to wait until a certain date to begin. January 1st isn't magical.

Me personally,new year resolutions and diets do not work, changes and healthy eating do ;-))). I will be making changes next year and definatly healthy eating ;-)))

I resolved (if that's the correct word) to make changes and get healthier last year, December 26th.
I've progressed, and continued to make changes through the year, adding or deleting menu items as necessary to continue to achieve healthy goals.
It's definitely a work in progress, but I wish to continue my journey toward health and wellness.
Even my hubby has made changes in his eating habits

I don't set resolutions or goals or any life plans. I just try to take each day as it comes--and do the best I can in that moment. Some things I always do--like daily exercise. Rain or shine, weekend or weekday, it's the first thing I do. I'm off to the treadmill right now!

I have in the past made resolutions and of course broken every one of them. This year I'm not calling them resolutions they will be changes. While out on my mail route (I have a lot of time to think) I decided I was not going to wait until next year to start making my changes or commitments. I started that day when I got home! I have fallen off the change commitment a few times but I get right back on. After I get done here there is a chocolate candy tray that needs to be put away. I'm not going to throw it out but I am going to throw it in the freezer. (Just in case I have a severe chocolate attack). What are you going to do....Make a resolution or make changes?
