Those pregnancies will get ya! lol I used this site after my first son and lost 100 pounds to and then during and after pregnancy with my second gained it all back. Its definitely harder with two kids instead of one but I'm hoping that using these boards will help keep me motivated!

I am back like many others it seems. Sparkpeople and I were a great team last year and I was able to get to my goal weight. Life fell apart and that was a great excuse- I have put on 22.4kg- I just looked that up its 48pounds. I am lucky something in my head has clicked and here I am again!

I have been on and off Sparkpeople for years. I believe I joined back in 2007 or 2008 and lost some. I joined back in 2011 after I had my son and lost about 40 lbs which I was able to maintain. I stopped but I was no where near my goal healthy weight.
So I am back again here to continue losing and get back into "Onederland". I have a 2 1/2 year old boy and looking forward to having more children. When I suffered a miscarriage two months it was a reminder to me, that I need to be healthier for my kids (current & future!) = )
If anyone is looking for a buddy, you can message me. I like to be held accountable and love to encourage others as well.

Returning. I was doing great with it in 2009, but then got derailed after having a family crisis and having to move in with my MIL for a few months. At the moment I'm at the hospital with my DM, who is having a heart cath tomorrow after having already had two heart attacks. This was enough to remind me of my need to drop 50 lbs.
returning...last year was eventful both good and bad. My dad died on mothers day 2012 and it took me a little bit to recover emotionally from that then just as I was starting to be healthy and exercise again I got pregnant (wasn't preventing but thought it would take a year esp since we are both in our 30s). My weight gain during pregnancy was healthy but now I've had the baby (in March) and it's time to start thinking about working on exercise again; plus I want to eat as healthy as possible for the baby since i'm nursing her (while still losing weight).

Started in 2008 or 2009, returning after a few years away. I seem to get pregnant every time I start to focus on me and drop weight. Then I gain it back because my thyroid acts funky or I get depressed after a miscarriage. 3 pregnancies in 4 years only one beautiful little girl running around! I just had a miscarriage and I have gained about 10lbs. I'm at almost my highest weight ever!!! And need to do something fast before it gets too out of control.
I am returning as well. I joined back in 2007 I believe. I did alright - it was the first time I had ever had to actually watch what I ate and work out to stay thin. But then I got married, bought a house, had 2 kids, etc and I stopped using the site. But I'm back - I'm not having any more children so its my turn to focus on myself a little bit. I'm the heaviest I've ever been, and that needs to change. I'm not happy with what I see in the mirror. Here's hoping I have success this time.

This is my second time around with SP. I love the site, and had great results last time, but as usual life got in the way (left military, moved, death in the family, got married, moved again, started culinary school, moved another time)...but I need to start making myself and my health a priority!
Im returning back to SP as well. I love the site and the community it creates without getting boring. Its been a crazy couple of years and feel like things are finally getting manageable between work and family that I can really focus on health now.

Yes. I lost 50+ lbs the first time. Had a baby and then knee pain. Slowly started getting off track and slowly started gaining again. I retained a lot of the information I gained here and tried to stick with it, but, well, you know how that goes. I need the motivation SP and everyone here gives me.
2nd time for me. I deleted my account after having it for years. It just wasn't my time I guess. Now that I have rejoined along with this energy and motivation I have now I am really going strong. I guess the 2nd time was the charm for me :)

Yes this is my 2nd time around. I joind in 2007 and lost little over 50lbs. I kept it off for a while, then had my son in 2011 and have been struggling to lose the weight ever since. Figure this worked the last time, lets give another go. Only this time I have about 150 lbs. to lose. I love sparkpeople.com, noone here judges!

3rd time for me :) My baby girl is almost 11 mths old and I haven't lost anything since her birth. I'd like to get healthy before baby number 2.
Hello, this is also my 3rd time back but my last. I am determined to lose the weight once and for all! I am raising my grandson and would like to know if anyone else is also in the same situation I am. Never thought I would be in this position at my age, 57. Yes over and over and over and over again. My problem with consistency on SP is the food tracker. I know the key to weight loss is diet. So, it's important to track you food. It's just way too time consuming.
Although I may not "check in" with SP, I continue to work out during my hiatus.

This is my 3rd time back. I LOVE SparkPeople. I did so well the first time around and was looking and feeling amazing. Unfortunately, I hit some bumpy roads and lost internet for a while, which made it hard on me to stay focused and encouraged. But I'm back now and look forward to a healthier, happier, better looking me :)

This is also my 3rd time back. I was also successful the first time and gained everything back. I have had a lot of ups and down these past 6 years and hope that I can make a lot of positive changes this time around.
Yes, this is my 2nd time on SP. I joined in 2007 to lose weight after my children were born. I didn't stick with it and only used it to count calories back then. Now my children have grown and so have I!! I had to change my starting weight (I've gained 30 lbs. since 2007), but this time, I'm trying to join the community fully.
Tomorrow, I'll update my SparkPage and take my picture (something I don't generally enjoy). I'm having more fun with this site in 2013 and look forward to staying with it for years to come!!
This is my second time being active on SP. I lost 24 lbs rather quick and easy the first time, but then gained about 17 pounds back. Off to slow start, but keeping my determination.

This is my second time back. I did really well losing weight with tracking my foods last time I was here. I didnt lose my goal weight but I was happier with myself then I had been in a long time and got lots of compliments. In the past I had lost weight the unhealthy way and I gained it all back really quick. With losing it right, I was able to keep it off much better. However, the last year Ive really started to snack and just eat so much junk. I feel yucky and unhappy with my weight so thought Id come back here and do this again. Doing well so far but only two days in!
I've been off and on for a while - Glad to be back!!

Hi. I joined a couple of years ago but didn't really do anything until about a month ago. If you go to the top of the page and click on "community" then "spark pages" you'll see a button for "edit my spark page". Over this holiday break, I've had time to play around with the site to learn from others. Even tried to blog and its fun getting comments back. I've got about 50 to lose though right now I'd be happy with the first 10. How wonderful for you to have twin 18month olds. I remember dancing around the living room with the kids when they were young. And bundling them up to go on our daily walk. Enjoy!

Hi! This is my second time back. The first time I did really well and lost 10 lbs, but then I left and started snacking at night like a fiend and gained about 12 lbs back. I would like to lose back down to 130 lbs and I'm having a real hard time of it. My kids have moved out and the holidays are not like they used to be. This Christmas has been so much better than last Christmas! I'm learning to get on with my life and operate as a person again. So, here I am and I'm focusing on the big picture and relearning again that this is for LIFE, not the short-term! Good luck to you all and God bless!
