When I think I'm hungry I crunch on celery stalks with peanut butter or ww cream cheese and drink water works for killing my appetite.

Years ago, I used Phen-fen, before it was removed from the market for giving people heart issues! It worked great, and fortunately for me I wasn't on it that long to do damage. But while I took it, I had no cravings whatsoever. For the first time in my life, I just didn't think about food - Unfortunately . . . I couldn't sleep from it, so the dr put me on all kinds of meds to counteract some of the effects of the phen-fen. After about 2 months, my brother had an "intervention" with me to tell me I looked awful (although skinnier) and was taking a lot of bad stuff that was messing me up. I quit taking it and the weight slowly crept back. There's no quick fix without repercussions - wish there was.

Lots of water, water-dense foods (veggies). Then brush your teeth after you eat.
Green Tea helps curb my hunger, I guess you have to find out what works. Pills and supplements are just companies taking your money, I wouldn't risk it.

I would not encourage you to use them. They can really mess up your system. Healthy food and exercise is the best.

Try drinking more water. Many times, hunger isn't really hunger, but actually thirst. So before a person decides to eat something to sate their hunger, they should drink a big glass of water to see if they were thirsty first.
Taking a pill will not solve a person's appetite issues. If a person is hungry, there may be a very good reason why. Maybe they aren't eating enough high fiber foods. Eating fiber helps keep a person full for longer because fiber takes longer for the body to digest. That means fiber can help keep a person's blood sugar levels stable.
Maybe the person isn't eating enough. Too many times a person will drastically cut their calories in an effort to speed up their weight loss. They think that eating less will help them to lose. I know this is going to sound strange, but a person has to eat in order to lose weight.
Weight loss is nothing more than a byproduct of a healthy lifestyle. If a person is eating right, watching their portions and getting a little regular exercise, the weight will come off on its own.
The problem is that many people believe that taking a pill will help curb their appetite. What they really need is better nutrition education, not a pill.

Every medication has side effects. There are several medications that can suppress your appetite and help you lose weight.
Having said that, you should talk to your doctor about medications that might help you lose weight if that is what you want to do. And the two of you need to decide if the risks outweigh the benefits.
So much depends on your current health status, what other medications you are taking and how much weight you need to lose. There is nothing wrong, immoral or illegal in deciding to use weight loss medications. You will still need to learn how and what to eat, to break the cycle of emotional eating and start/continue an exercise program.
Being overweight and the comorbidities associated with obesity such as diabetes and hypertension are hard on your heart, liver and kidneys. Many medications can damage your heart, liver and kidneys. Each of us has to decide which risk is greater for us.
It's always easy to say that we just need to eat right. If it was as easy to do as it is to say we would all be slim and healthy. We all know what we need to do. Doing it is hard, especially when you feel hungry all of the time.

I find the best appetite suppressant that works and doesn't have any bad side affects is learning how to eat correctly... and exercise
