Sure they are they are dried raisins..it is the same question as asking if preserved fruits are fruits? Or canned fruits are fruits?

raisins are dried grapes, so yes, they are definitely a fruit.

i agree with the other post that a small (1.5 oz.) box is a single serving.

40 grams or about 1.4 oz is considered a serving so your little box should do it.
