LOL, yep. Since I'm a nurse I'm supposed to know the answer to every health question and since I've lost a lot of weight I'm supposed to know all of the secrets of the weight loss universe. I keep telling them "I know nuffinn...absolutely nuffin" lol

Hmmm...well, not always, but I guess most of the time, I think they'd consider me as such :)
I'm not sure - I definitely think I'm more healthy than most of my friends, especially in terms of food, but I'm not sure if they me to be healthy or not. One of my friends in particular thinks that she's really healthy, but after everything I've learned from SP and other places, I know that what she eats really isn't very healthy at all.

I am finally the healthiest regarding food, but not as far as exercise I'm halfway there.

Hands down! I have always been the designated healthy person in my family due to a lifelong commitment to exercise.....I get all the questions about aches, pains, what exercise is best for.....I don't smoke, I don't drink and I am a big carnivore! But they watch whatever I do and say related to exercise etc.

Oh yes! I don't drink, I don't smoke, I exercise everyday and I know most calorie counts in most foods. My family relies on me to answer all their questions.
This is a great topic! It's quite funny because although almost all of our friends are thinner than I am, I'm still the "healthy lifestyle" one! People are ALWAYS and I mean multiple times per day asking me how many calories are in something, if something is healthy, how should they work out, etc. In particular I have a friend who just lost 10 lbs and I basically held her hand through the entire thing (I told her the calories in every single thing she ate, she was too overwhelmed to look it up herself). After she lost 10 lbs, I congratulated her and she said "congratulate yourself, you're the one who did it!" Haha!!
I'm also the only person in my group who never drinks alcohol, and I don't know anyone who works out as much or as hard as I do. And almost all my skinny friends smoke cigarettes too. So even though I'm not the "thin friend", I am the healthy and fit friend. I LOVE IT!! And I love to share my experience (I'm reluctant to call it "knowledge" since as we all know, we in the fitness community are standing on shifting sands as info is constantly changing, being undermined, and redefined -- now they're starting to say ALL calorie counts are wrong because protein should be 3 rather than 4 calories per gram and fiber should be more than it was previously considered, the confusion over how much water to drink, and so on).
My husband thinks of me as the diet and exercise guru and he tells everyone that I am one which is pretty funny too.

Not sure if I really get your question, but I will try to answer it anyhow. Not sure if healthy would be the word used for me as far as looks because I am over weight but other then that I am healthy meaning no diabetes, high blood pressure, or anything going on like that. I am also medication free. I am told I am strong, so I take that as they see me of healthy heart and mind. I am the come to person, but sometimes that is not always good. I am very confrontational with truth only and not hear say.The weak people seem to dislike that, and the ones who are a bit stronger and want to change love me for whom I am, and respect what I have to say and the help I have to offer, I am compassionate but upfront, many do not like me here on boards because I say what I am thinking and feel. so here I am a trouble maker to them and those are the weak ones.

I think my family considers me the dhp (designated healthy person) since I am a vegetarian and I walk as much as humanly possible during the day.
In my group of work friends I am amongst a plethora of "healthy" folks and most of the men lift weights so I'm not the designated "healthy person" but when I first lost weight I did field a lot of questions.
What about you, are YOU the designated healthy person or the "go to" person amongst your family, friends, co-workers?
