Compression shorts are awesome. I love them mainly because they help to prevent chafing. I find that they are helpful with the keeping the tummy in a central location. Just be sure that you let them air dry. At least, in my opinion, air drying won't reduce the wicking abilities like it does in the dryer. I get mine at Academy Sports and Outdoors.

I would try some compression under and outer garments. I follow a blogger who had the same issue and she didn't let it keep her from running. However, she did develop rashes from her apron and eventually she qualified to have the excess skin removed. Not all of that will have that luxury, so we del with it the best we can. Under Armor makes great quality compression clothing. A cheaper option is Old Navy. That's generally hat I run in now.

In addition to the last comment, I like to wear something like this:

Cotton doesn't allow moisture to whick off, but you can find a full upper body sports bra, and it can tuck you in so you feel less movement in the tummy area.

I was hoping someone had an answer to your question. I'm among the many who have the same problem, only mine was from just letting myself get fat. Now I have lots of skin that flops, too.

Cornstarch helps for sweaty areas but beware. Those areas can develop into yeast infections (there is a cream you can get a Rx for) and you don't want to use both at the same time.

I have a somewhat embarrassing question. After giving birth to two children and a lifetime of Oprah-esque weight losses and gains I have an odd problem. I started walking to lose weight in May. The good news is that I've lost 42 lbs!!! I would like to start jogging a little bit but I find that jogging causes that drooping "apron" of abdominal flab to jounce up and down which causes me significant back pain. I really would like to up the intensity of my workouts my jogging more now, but the back pain is a problem. I feel like a support garment (like a girdle or something) would help this problem, but, ladies, we alll know that those things don't breathe very well. Does anyone know of a support garment intended for working out that won't lead to, er, hygienic issues??? Thanks all!
