5/4 - A whole lotta exercise and I feel terrific!! Aerobic walking, walking, running, crossramp and weights (WOW). It certainly got rid of my rotten emotional state. And this is a much more gratifying way to get rid of emotions than previously attempted ways.

I'm going to set my goal at 1600 minutes again like I did in March. If I make it I will reward myself ... just not sure how yet.
Hey BLONDE2B: I think you should definitly count both! If you ever feel as though something isn't challenging enough or feel like you aren't even burning any calories then no I may not count it. Like today I just went for a 40 minute walk. Not super challenging, but I know it is still burning some calories!!

I was meaning to ask what kind of exercise 'counts' for this challenge. Tomorrow I have Ashtanga yoga, which is a very active type of yoga, but Thursday's is a more traditional, slower-moving type. Can they both count towards exercise minutes?

Hi. I would love to join this challenge. I was already planning to try and up my exercise now that the weather is getting nicer and this challenge is just what I need to help me keep my focus on doing just that.
Challenges are my greatest motivating tool. I love this message board though because the honest truth is that challenges you place on yourself are the ones which are the hardest, but also the most important!
I am trying to get back on the wagon so here we go:

I am going to keep my same goal of 600 minutes for April even though I hit 750 in March. I, too, will be traveling a bit and may have trouble exercising for some of those days. 600 minutes is 30 minutes, 5 days per week, for 4 weeks. That's not as many minutes as some members of these monthly challenges, but I think it is a reasonable goal for me.
This seems fun. I hope I do this right. I'm not even sure what's too high or too low but I guess I'll find out at the end of the month won't I!

Welcome to our new workout minutes challenge for April. We would love to have some new folks join us this month and I am hoping that the seasoned members return!!! For any new challenge members we have been setting a monthly workout minutes goal and posting as follows:
