I wish that they would break down the components of the meals, so that if I opt to get a steak without potatoes I would be able to figure out the NI. Of course, I emailed them but they never bothered to respond.

Thank you!

I did find the Thai Shrimp Salad at Applebees to be reasonable. Tasted fine, too.

Progress, I like your blog. You look like you're going at things in an orderly fashion. Applebee's is high in sodium, and while I can't go every day by any means, I will go here and there. If I don't enjoy life while I am changing it, I am doing a dier, not a lifestyle change.

Erin, I also like your blog!

I don't eat at restaurants all that often but when I do, I like knowing the nutrition information so I don't have to guess as much (I still think they sometimes give bigger portions or more dressings, etc., so the standard information given is underestimated). Though I'm not saying it is a good thing the meals are high in sodium, I don't consider an occasional high sodium meal to have any overall impact on my health. In all honesty, I'm more concerned with the number of calories than the amounts of sodium or anything else. If I ate at these places all the time, yes, I'd be worried about the sodium content.

That is so sad. Sometimes I like to enjoy a restaurant meal, but not at the expense of my health.

(On another note, I like your signature. I read your blog. My dad has the same problem with the restaurant booths)
