I also bought a pampered chef apple slicer/corer, and I love it. It is very quick and easy. Of course, a lot of the time I just eat the apple as it is.

I like mine too, although I wish it didn't take up so much room in the drawer! And sometimes I want thinner slices, so I just cut up the apple with a knife.

I have several Pampered Chef products...most of which I have found at yard sales, thrift stores or Ebay!

I adore Pampered Chef gadgets! They have a mango slicer that is the cat's meow!

I also have the pineapple wedger and the apple wedger. Great investments!

I use my apple slicer almost every day and have also discovered it works on pears. I also have a pineapple cutter that really makes cutting pineapple up a breeze!

In my tiny kitchen, I can't afford the counter space for more gadgets, so I use the fun way to core an apple with just a knife. :)

NOTE: I'm not plugging Pampered Chef...that's just the brand I decided to buy.

Typically I don't attend any of those parties such as Pampered Chef, Thirty One, etc., but a woman from my church sells Pampered Chef and was having a fund raiser, on-line party to help the flood survivors of Hurricane Sandy. I liked the idea of the proceeds going to Sandy relief so I decided to look for something to buy and settled on the apple wedger slicer and a spatula. I'm so happy I bought the apple wedger slicer! My husband and I have been eating sliced apples and pears (it works on pears, too) every day since then! It's fast and convenient and somehow the fruit tastes better this way to me! Although I've always eaten fruit every day (including apples and pears), this has really been a new, fun toy to use

I can do it!!
