Just turned 72 - 5'2" & WEIGH 153. GOAL TO REACH 135 BY MID-SEPTEMBER. BELONG TO THE Y AND GO 3 TIMS A WEEK - SWIM, XC TRAINER, STATIONARY BIKE AND WALKING. BEGAN MAR. 21 AND HAVE LOST 2 LBS. SO FAR - AM PLEASED! fEEL IT IN MY WAIST. I'M A "SWEET TOOTHER" AND THE THOUGHT OF NOT FINISHING A MEAL WITH A COOKIE OR PIECE OF LOAF OR CAKE IS AWFULLY DIFFICULT SINCE I'VE DONE IT SINCE CHILDHOOD - BUT I AM PERSERVING.
Ed, if you go Explore Spark Teams and click on that, then there'l be Age groups, click on that and there should be the 70's there are 3 teams, you can join that are for 70 and over... Hope this helps!!

I started a week ago and have lost 1.5 lbs so far eating wiser, some workouts, walking the dogs, and doing yard work. Feel very good and I want to stay on track using Sparks and talking with sparks people.
