I sure do. And I actually read, too. Not so much if I am running but definitely while walking.

I do when I'm staying in hotels - it's awesome...otherwise my regular gym does not have tvs with the treadmills so I just use my walkman

I do! My rule is that I can only watch that show or movie while I'm on working out (basically whatever I have on Netflix). Right now I am watching the first season of Witches of East End - I love the soapy goodness. I want to see another episode, so I know I have a 45 minute walk/jog to do so I can watch it!

If I'm just doing steady state workouts, then I watch stuff from Netflix. Currently, though, I'm using the programmed sessions, so I gotta stay focused, as I just never know what the next level will toss my way! emoticon

When I go to the gym and use the treadmill I watch TV, preferably the music video channel.

A good action/adventure show keeps me pedalling hard on my stationary bike. I have no trouble keeping up with the show AND getting in an intense workout!

sure, it's reading on the treadmill that's difficult.

I do - I keep an eye on my stats to make sure I'm not slowing down, I walk though not run

I did watch tv when I walked on my treadmill at home. If you do, I would be careful (as you progress with your walking) to pay attention to your pace. Make sure you increase it as walking gets easier for you.

if I am on a bike, I can read, if I cover the data

Does anyone actually do that?

Can you stay focused?

I don't have a treadmill and I don't want to waste money if this doesn't end up working.

It's just that, I would like to do something while catching up on shows/movies etc.

Better than not doing anything and gives it some variety.
