1 1/4 cups whole-wheat flour
1 cup wheat germ
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs

Combine dry ingredients.
Add milk, oil and eggs.
Mix until smooth.
Bake about six minutes in waffle iron.

you can substitute sugar with splenda.

I love waffles but my call for white flour and white sugar. I've tried substituting whole wheat flour but it wasn't that good. I'll keep experimenting until someone gives me a good recipe!
