Born on Thanksgiving in 1955. My Mom thought she had eaten too much turkey and didn't realize that she was in labor. My uncle, a preacher who was also at our house for Thanksgiving, delivered me after dinner on the dining room table!
And you know what? Turkey is my favorite food! No lie!

Hi there! I'm just joining the forum today. I'm looking to connect with others in the over 50 crowd. My birthday is also in December, 1955. Looking forward to getting to know you all. I'm in the process of recovering from major foot reconstruction. I was non-weight bearing for six week and now in an aircast for another 6 weeks. I'm going crazy not being able to work out!

My goal is also "Lose 60 by 60". Of course I'ld love to lose more. My birthday is January 23rd. I now have the exercise thing going but struggle almost every night with binge eating. So my mantra now is "May is my month" and I'm fighting hard to change the nighttime routine.
I was born Dec 1955. Need lots of encouragement. As soon as I lose a few pounds get my 10,000 steps something happens that makes me abandon everything. I have a fitbit which helps. I have arthritis while I know I feel better when I move when everything hurts I want to crawl in bed a sleep. So once again I am working toward moving everyday and eating better.
