I honestly don't know the differentiation among the different eating plans mentioned. I have been avoiding gluten, dairy and eggs for the past few years. Blood allergy shows moderate allergy to all. Have kept off 60 pounds and I feel incredible. No arthritic pains. No brain fog. It really changed my life. :) I've never cut out carbs. I eat a well balanced diet.

There are a couple of people at my church that is on this diet. They lost weight the first couple of weeks but i haven't heard if they have lost any lately. I'm thinking about doing it. Been doing some reseach on it.

I recently started following a Primal way of eating. I'm still tracking my calories to make sure that I am staying within my recommended SP range, but I'm also tracking my micronutrients to make sure that I have the right carb/fat/protein ratio. Pretty much without trying I hit that every day. The problem? For the past nearly three weeks my weight hasn't gone down, it's actually even fluctuated UP a couple of times, but not down at all. I feel great, my IBS is under control and I no longer have to take my daily heartburn medicine, but the pounds aren't coming off.

Anyone else have an experience like this? Do I just need to give it more time? I don't want to stop eating this way because it makes sense to me, but I would like to be losing weight as well. According to the numbers I should be losing an easy 2lbs per week, but I'm not.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Comments? Questions? Concerns? :)
