A big laugh, since I laugh so loud and so much. Or a wet tissue. Everything makes me cry. It's just how I express my deep emotions. Just seems everything affects me deeply. It's actually embarrassing, but I can't stop it.

Thank you for this post. One of the most intriguing questions offered. And I SO ENJOYED reading everyone's posting.

I can't think of one for me or don't want to think of one since my daughter had an assignment like this when she was in 5th grade. Her teacher saved the piece she wrote and shared it again with me when she graduated.

At that time, we had a lot of family stress and I divorced her father. But she said she was like a "hiking boot" (wish I could locate that poem right now to share it all with you; I'm going to look for it). She just strives to keep hiking up and up until she gets above all those problems and obstacles in life.

My daughter was valedictorian of her class and went on to get college degrees including earning her Ph.D. I am so proud of her. (Can you tell?) And she really is like a hiking boot in so many ways.

Right now - a trampoline.

I'm bouncy and full of energy these days and it feels great. I have a can-do attitude because I am able to bounce back when I make mistakes.

Either an animal (for my love of animals), an American flag because I love living in this country, or my child hood cross which hung over my bed until I moved out and is still in my car.

These are great. I ended up bringing my Wonder Woman Pez Dispenser because I try to juggle everything - as we all do - and it's hard most days to keep all the balls in the air. I would love to be Wonder Woman (and that Lasso of Truth would come in handy).
Plus, I just love Pez emoticon

A dragonfly kaleidoscope

Look through a dragonfly kaleidoscope and the what you see is new images of beauty.

I like to think that my mind perceives everything through a dragonfly kaleidoscope lens...finding the beauty in everything.

My sewing machine-
I can run like a rabbit, yet go slow as a turtle.
Mend, create and design.
I can be on or off depending on my maker.
I am very valuable, especially to the one who cherishes me.

A lighter
I can provide some light on a subject
I can start a fire and get people thinking
I can light a candle and give someone hope or celebrate a happy event
and I can be refilled with new fluid ideas...
but if you aren't careful with how you handle me...I can burn you emoticon

I'd bring a couple of the books that I was reading. I might also consider my ipod.

A heart. emoticon I have a big heart and even when people do not deserve my compassion I still have some for them. I do not hate, and even if they are hateful I still somehow feel something like they need love or something as to why they are acting out so harshly. I am not a mat though, so I have to do cut offs and remove the person out of my life if the continue being bad after they seen me in their dark shining some light, while trying to help them with love, things or what have you.

My wedding ring.... (I really hope my wife sees this).

I would have to bring some sort of food that I love cooking and that is a recipe that most people have never tried. Cooking is probably my greatest hobby, and I'm known for making pretty good stuff.

My second choice would be a quilt. I'm also in love with crafts and making things for others.

I would bring a plant or flowers because I love nature and color. I also read somewhere that people who keep plants or work in a garden are hopeful people

Mine is a cross. I received it when I was baptized and it has been on my wall in each of my residences.

I sit on a Board of Directors and we are having a strategic planning session tomorrow. For an icebreaker, we are to bring an object that best represents you.
I have some ideas, but I'd like to hear some of yours that will maybe inspire mine to be more creative emoticon
