Good for you for recognizing an emotional trigger and thwarting it! Just know that no food, even Reese's, are off limits so long as you plan and track it.

I not so much a sweets person, though I do love ice-cream and yogurt. My downfall is potato chips and other salty snacks. I just make sure I don't buy them.

Old habits are hard to stop. If you are going to have candy on hand try to make it sugar free and a hard candy. The hard candy takes longer to eat than candy bars or m&m's, etc.

I just started using SparkPeople the other day and really like it so far. I've been tracking food and fitness and feeling super motivated.
Then in class just now (I teach high school) some kids were driving me nuts. This is my plan period, and I headed toward the Christmas candy I had bought for them. (They don't deserve it, I thought.) Heck, I can't let these kids make me fat! I've gained 10 pounds since August from stress eating, and it has to stop.
Thanks for being here. I'd better get back to work. Just thought I'd drop in for some motivation.
