I decided that since it is like 500 degrees outside lately, I would try to work out inside...somehow. So, I decided to get a yoga mat, and an exercise ball at Wal-Mart and planned on doing some online videos too. Well, I got home and realized that the ball had a warning label on the box that said at least one chemical in the ball has been known to cause cancer and birth defects/reproductive problems. I know it's probably not likely to affect me, but I don't want to be the rare case that it /does.
Well, I took it back and thought I could get a different brand or even exchange it for an entirely different product.
Nothing (well, aside from the yoga mats and maybe one other item). EVERYTHING -I mean, even a weight loss tracking BOOK- had the warning.
So, if not the brand at Wal-Mart, where is somewhere that has decent, safe, and affordable work out equipment?
And while I'm on the topic, does anyone know why that product even has those chemicals in it to begin with? I'm just curious!
