So use your range. Stick to middle-low range mostly, and if you feel you've "earned" a few calories by being more active, go up in the range.
The thing is, Spark doesn't do that for two reasons. Firstly, your body isn't a 24 hour clock. If you have a big workout day today you might want more calories today - and also tomorrow. But you didn't 'earn' them tomorrow, you earned them today. So it doesn't make sense to just give yourself more calories on the one day you actually did the work.
Secondly, thinking "I exercised so I can eat more" is a bad habit that in many people can lead to a disordered behaviour towards eating and exercising.

In other words, no, there isn't a way to eat what you've burned for the day.
This is a sticking point for me with SparkPeople. I know it works well for most, but my activity level isn't consistent so I see eating what I've burned as a reward, thus I've become more active in general. I'm not ready to commit to burning a certain level each week, but want to see day by day how I can earn calories.
1200 is an intake minimum, not a net minimum. It's about vitamins and minerals, not the amount of calories. It's just expressed as an amount of calories because it's easiest to remember and manage that way.
You don't need to eat more vitamin C and potassium after you've worked out some. :)

You don't need to eat back the calories you burned.
If you have your fitness goals accurately set to reflect that actual amount of calories you burn per week then it will give you what calorie range you should be eating per day

If you have input the number of calories burned each week into Spark, then spark has taken that into account in your daily calories to be consumed (your range).

Is there any way to set your food tracker to reflect the amount of calories you've burned that day? For example, if I track that I've eaten 1200 calories so far today and then I go to the gym and burn 432 calories, is there any way to set my tracker to reflect that I now need to eat 432 more calories in order to get my minimum in for the day? It just seems like there must be a more efficient way to keep track of this than simply trying to remember to subtract my calories burned from my total calories eaten for the day. I'm forgetful and I often don't remember to do the math in my head the next time I look at my food tracker, meaning I'm sometimes below 1200 in a day.
